We sell to chefs

We will also be selling directly to restaurants in Cobourg and Peterborough. We are currently looking for new clients so please contact us for more information. Zenryu has been a vegan chef for over 30 years and worked closely with restaurants in Kyoto over the past decade.

We sell custom orders

We can also accommodate direct wholesale orders upon request. Please contact us directly by email if you would like to order a large quantity of one crop, or ongoing weekly sales for your business. Wholesale amounts and prices will be negotiated upon inquiry. Orders need to be made a minimum of one week prior to the delivery date. If you know well in advance that you will need a large amount of one crop, consider letting us know a season in advance so we can grow it for you.

    Hello!

I would just like to ask you a couple of questions! First – next year, my husband and I plan to move to Mito in Ibaraki to teach English. I am a mostly raw vegan, and thus eat looooots of organic fruits and veggies. Do you know of other places to get local grown organic produce? Maybe from other growers in the organization you’re in? And second – if you don’t know of anything like that in Ibaraki, would you be able to ship that far without it making the price completely inreasonable?

We’re trying to plan our budget a little so we know what to expect, but I’m not willing to sacrifice much when it comes to organic vs. conventional….

Anyway, thanks! I can’t wait til I can have my own garden and not have to worry about all of this! XD

      Hello Nico,
I’m so sorry, but we will probably be shut down by then. We live up in the mountains of Kyoto where lots of snow tends to accumulate, making veggie digging very challenging. We shut down our operation for the winter months. If you would still like an organic veggie box, however; our distributor, http://www.on-the-slope.com offer a year round veggie box program. They source organic veggies from dozens of farms around Kansai and beyond. Hope that helps. Enjoy your time in Japan!
